I updated yesterday. So far so good. The new text-suggestion feature is really neat – it was one of the few things that I missed from my horrible Android phone.
On the topic of new shininess from Apple, I'm running the OS X 10.10 beta on my work laptop. Lots of cool new features, and nothing seems to be massively broken. Not entirely sold on the new look, though – it's kind of clunky in places.

Interesting that OS X is going all the way to 10.10. I would have thought the next version after 10.9 would be 11

Yeah, somebody forgot how to math.
But software versioning is weird like that – such abuse of decimals is fairly standard practice.

It just looks so funny because 10.10 can be interpreted as 10.1 since sometimes you have minor patches that add zeros - 10.101 would normally be a minor patch of 10.1, not 10. one hundred and one
